        LEO AND NANA have been living together for many years. They got together in the soviet ere and have two grown up sons and a girl. Now they wanted to confirm their "marriage" in the orthodox church, something that has become quite popular in Georgia in later years. Many already married couples find their way to church, to make a pledge in front of God instead of a bureaucrat. After the collapse of the

sovietunion, the churches influence has become stronger, and many already wed couples find back to their religious roots, and thus find a new wedding ceremony to be a confirmation of that. Leo and Nana are our nearest neighbours in Nikortsminda, so we were invited to their ceremony. I promised to take some pictures. Here they are.
